Iomega has unveiled a stylish 1TB eGo desktop hard drive, the Super eGo. Available in ruby red, midnight blue, or jet black, its design is based on the eGo range, which is available capacities up to 320GB.
The new 3.5″ USB 2.0 hard drive holds up to 4 million photos, over 18,500 hours of music or 1,500 hours of video, the maker claims.
The drive includes handles automatic backups, scheduled backups and on-demand backups.
The device is compatible with Mac OS X 10.1 or higher and with Microsoft Windows 2000 Pro, Windows XP, and Windows Vista. EMC Retrospect HD backup software is available for free download (PC only).
The new drive retails at EUR*189.90, inc VAT.
