Redwind Software has announced that it has been successful in its pursuit of the mobile business contract for Heineken USA. The Irish owned company battled thousands of other competitors to secure the contract which will see the firm deal with all of Heineken USA’s mobile business.
The endeavour began when Redwind developed an app for Heineken USA, which impressed the US beverage giant immensely. Two of Redwind’s apps ‘Heinken Light Challenge’ and the ‘Heineken Music Challenge’ have earned enormous success and won it popularity with the beverage giant.
Heinken USA are clearly confident in Redwind Software’s abilities as Frank Polley, senior director of trade marketing activation for Heineken USA commented that the firm were highly impressed by the Irish company. Polley stated that, “from the start we felt that Redwind Software had the edge over many of their competitors, both here in the US and abroad. We started with just one app created by Redwind Software but now they handle all out promotional mobile app business.”
Redwind has been riding on a wave of success since its creation in 2008 by Conor Winders and David McMahon, winning a plethora of awards and contracts. Rewind Software successfully scooped the Best Business App and Best Entertainment/Gaming App awards at ‘The Appys’ award ceremony in 2010. The application developer has also secured sizeable contracts with Bacardi USA, Goose and Bombay Sapphire.
Conor Winders founder of Redwind Software expressed delight with the firm’s recent succeses. Winders said that, “securing a contract with a company as big as Heineken has been such a boost for Redwind. I think it says something about what Irish Technology can offer to International businesses.”
In anticipation of further success in the USA, Redwind opened their first international office in Los Angeles in hopes for expansion in the future. Co-founder David McMahon expressed his delight by stating that “opening an office in LA was a huge achievement for us and gives us global presence that our business demands.” He added that “we have high hopes for the future””
