PFH Technology Group, Ireland’s largest indigenous ICT services company, is to create 25 new jobs within the organisation. The jobs were announced at the official opening of the company’s new office in Galway.

The new positions will be in sales & marketing, cloud services, and technical and consultancy roles.

“In addition to expanding its workforce PFH has also extended its office space, with new facilities in Merlin Park. This expansion,” said Paul Hourican, CEO, PFH Technology Group, “further strengthens the operations in Galway and our commitment to the West will help generate more major contracts in the region.”

“This year PFH has won major contracts in the government and private sectors. These contracts include the provision of Private Secure Cloud Infrastructure to two major Government departments – and we have also won the largest migration to Windows 7 from XP in the State, with the upgrading or replacement of over 26,000 machines.

“Our continued investment in people and offices is evidence of our clients’ appreciation for the services that the wider PFH team provides to companies,” continued Hourican. “We’ve been doing this now for almost thirty years and have learned that the success achieved has been based upon building trust. That’s the lynchpin. Our customers are obviously keen to embrace technology solutions to competitively meet their business goals and they constantly want to work with dedicated, technically skilled and productive people. That’s true of all our customers, be they SME, corporate or in the public sector.

“PFH recruits professional, qualified staff and continually trains young school leavers and graduates to fill demanding ICT roles within its organisation,” said Hourican. “The scale of services, from Infrastructure to Cloud, means it’s the ideal place for young and qualified professionals to gain access to leading companies and technologies in this state.”

PFH currently employs over 200 employees in Dublin, Cork and Galway.
