Nathean has announced the creation of eight to ten new positions at the company over the next twelve months. The Irish data analytics firm has experienced remarkable growth over the past year and is now expecting to double its exports and increase revenues by at least 50% this year. The new jobs which will be mainly business development and R&D roles, have been created in order to support further export led growth plans.

Fresh investment of €800,000 has been secured for Nathean by Enterprise Ireland existing investors, to support its international growth plans, including the roll out of a comprehensive product and technology roadmap, with international sales and marketing initiatives being put in place.

In recent times Nathean has garnered a growing base of public and private sector customers in Ireland as well as experiencing significant growth in the UK. Nathean expects exports to make up 70% of its total revenues in 2011. It also has plans to extend the reach of Logix to other International markets by 2012.

Maurice Lynch, Managing Director at Nathean, argues that Nathean has what it takes to experience continual growth. Lynch said that, “today, business users expect to be empowered with appropriate data analysis and reporting tools to ensure they are effective in their role. However, traditional BI vendors have been found wanting in this regard.”
