Training focus: Dun Laoghaire based Oghma Services will provide services and material for Hambisana’s client-training
Technical education and training services provider Oghma has won a €850k contract with Hambisana Media & Technologies in South Africa.
Hambisana is a software development and consultancy specialising in the delivery of multimedia products and services to the digital broadcast and telecommunications industries.
The contract is Dun Laoghaire based Oghma Services’ first with Hambisana as part of its digital broadcast and IPTV global solutions service portfolio. Oghma will provide training and training material for Hambisana’s client-training in Africa, Europe and the Americas.
The deal follows Oghma’s participation in Enterprise Ireland’s trade mission to South Africa in September 2009 and subsequent introductions through EI.
Enterprise Ireland’s David Byrne, head of high growth markets, notes that South Africa holds significant potential for Irish exports, “particularly in the ICT and services sectors.”
