Exerits Ireland has acquired the technology distribution division of Espion. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Under the agreement, the current Espion Technology Distribution Team, including director and head of technology distribution Jim Lehane will be unaffected.
The deal will not affect any of Espion’s other divisions – Espion Information Governance; Espion eDiscovery & Digital Forensics; Espion Cloud Assurance; Espion Managed Security Solutions; Espion Training and Espion R&D.
Exertis, a part of DCC, is one of Europe’s largest and fastest growing technology distribution and specialist service providers. It partners with 350 global technology brands and more than 22,850 resellers and retailers across Europe. The company reported a turnover of €3.4 billion to the year ended 31 March 2015.
