Screen refresh: TVClean takes care of dust and dirt
Many people can’t wait to get their hands on the new Apple iPad – and there’s the rub! Eager fingers leave greasy marks on the screen, attracting dust.
One solution is TVClean, which uses a rubber roller to gently remove dust and particles from any glass surface and transfer them to an adhesive roll for disposal.
The designer, Gregor Aikman of MESO Design, notes: “Traditional cleaning methods such as cloths, wipes and sprays can potentially scratch or damage the surface. They do not remove the dust but simply move it around. Sprays can damage the sensitive coatings used on screens to reduce glare.”
He said TVClean is guaranteed not to scratch or damage the surface, and can pick up particles as small as one micron (one-thousandth of a millimetre).
TVClean comes with a microfiber cloth designed to remove finger- and grease-marks. It retails at around EUR*24.
