Clients in the dark over MSP access to internal systems
More than half (55%) of organisations are unaware how many people at their managed service provider have full administrative access to their systems, according to interim data from a survey by TechCentral.ie and DNA IT Solutions. Perhaps more concerningly, some 60% of respondents said their MSP did not help them meet obligations under NIS2 or DORA regulations.
Commenting on the findings, TechCentral.ie editor Niall Kitson said: “Communication is essential to any successful partnership. It’s a given that MSP and clients have a tight working relationship so to see any kind of disagreement or discontent with the quality of support is concerning.”
