Sony Xperia S

Sony’s latest Android phone comes with a 4.3" 1280×720 Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine, as well as front (720p) and back (1080p) cameras for HD recording. The front-facing 12MP back camera with Sony Exmor R for mobile along with Fastest Capture to take shots in just 1.5 seconds directly from standby mode.

It’s powered by 1.5GHz dual-core processor, and comes with 32Gb flash storage and near field communications applications and services as well as Xperia SmartTags and mobile payments.

Content can be shared from the handset to a Bravia TV through DLNA HDMI and Bravia Sync.

The Xperia S is compatible with three new Smart Extras: Xperia SmartTags for triggering pre-set profiles within the phone; the Smart Wireless Headset pro – a multifunction, stereo Bluetooth headset; and SmartWatch – a micro display accessory, which is mounted on a strap and can be worn as a watch.

It ships with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) with an Ice Cream Sandwich update due in the second half of 2012.
