Sony offers complete sat nav system

Sony has launched its Nav-u portable navigation device and it’s available with full Navteq mapping for the entire Republic of Ireland.

From Dublin to Galway and Donegal to Kerry, the Sony Nav-u sat nav covers all cities, towns and villages, enabling drivers to get turn by turn directions to and from addresses throughout the country. Coverage includes over 5,000 POIs within the Republic such as hotels, petrol stations and sports facilities, as well as internal and international ferry routes to England, Wales, Isle of Man and France.

The Sony NV-U50 sports a 3.5″ touch screen display with an extra-wide 80° viewing angle giving optimal flexibility. Plug-and-play operation is complemented by a smart cradle with easy installation suction cup and one-touch release. The high accuracy positioning of the Sony GPS chip and a long lasting battery ensure that users will never be lost again.

The NV-U50 is available now for around €350 at Sony Centres, Halfords stores and other leading electronics dealers throughout Ireland.
