Enterprise Web content management provider pTools has released a new software-as-a-service (SaaS) Web content management (WCM) solution at the Dublin Web Summit. The new software allows content to be securely distributed to users across desktop, mobile and tablet devices for Web, extranet and intranet from a single secure source, more effectively than has ever before been possible.

pTools SaaS application combines all of the enterprise level features of pTools into a single service, available for a monthly or annual subscription fee.

Keith Wood, CEO of pTools (pictured), said: "This is a major initiative for pTools and already we are seeing take-up of the new pTools SaaS offering by new and existing customers in all markets. It’s great to be able to launch this in our home city, Dublin, at what is effectively one of the biggest and most dynamic new technology conferences in the world this year."

pTools SaaS enables partners and customers to easily deploy enterprise class WCM and other applications based on a recurring payment model. Traditional up-front licensing is replaced by fully managed on-going service designed to make continuous improvement easier and more efficient. pTools SaaS content delivery network is based on tier-one infrastructure, data center and connectivity providers with world-class security, performance, back-up and recovery services available to all as standard.
