Rupert Murdoch-owned Sunday newspaper The News of the World will go behind an online paywall from next month, when the company will also launch a dedicated iPad app.
The Sunday tabloid, famous for scandal and exposing celebrity misdemeanours, will follow in the footsteps of The Times and Sunday Times in charging for content online.
