Coop Ireland has announced that the free distribution of the first National Green Pages to 250,000 homes and business across Ireland is now complete. It marks the largest free and independent green marketing initiative of its kind ever
undertaken in Ireland and is a unique venture worldwide.
Sponsored by the Department of the Environment, Permanent TSB, Greenstar, the Green Energy Growers Association (GEGA) and Formula Building Technologies Ltd (FBT), the 300-page directory acts as a comprehensive guide to living and working in an environmentally sustainable manner.
250,000 copies have been distributed nationwide free of charge and included the delivery to over 10,000 recipients who registered for their free copy on www.greenpages.ie in advance of the website’s official launch this week.
A further 25,000 copies of the National Green Pages are available for sale in retail outlets, farmers markets and on www.greenpages.ie .
