Light fantastic: Epson’s 1775W model is an ultra-light 1.7kg
Epson has launched a range of slimeline ultra-light projectors designed to throw bright, high-quality images for mobile professionals.
Weighing 1.7kg and 44mm high, the projectors are smaller than most laptops and, says the maker, will slip easily into a laptop bag. This, combined with the “fast, straightforward set-up, quick-start-up and instant-off functions, makes for a hassle-free way to share presentations and images when away from the office.”
The projectors offer brightness at up to 3,000 lumens and a Colour Light Output (CLO) equally as high as the white light output. This means presentations benefit from “vivid yet natural colours” even when seen in full daylight – allowing audiences to easily take notes.
Epson Ireland’s Katrina Timmis, channel manager, notes: “These products are the ultimate in mobile presenting. Automatic vertical keystone correction is on all models and the EB-1775W also has automatic horizontal keystone correction. It means the image immediately focuses onto any flat surface and automatic horizontal and vertical keystone correction adjusts the shape to give an accurate projection.”
High-speed wireless connectivity is standard on the EB-1775W and optional on the EB-1760W/1770W models. Other features include multi-screen display – providing the ability to connect up to four projectors from a single computer – and an optional Quick Wireless Connection key.
All models except the EB-1750 offer a native WXGA resolution that displays everything shown on a widescreen computer (Macs and PCs), projecting about 30% more of the on-screen pixels than XGA resolution.
The new range is available now, with recommended VAT-inclusive retail prices ranging from €867.96 to €1,597.23.
