Intel is offering 10 scholarships to girls and women looking to begin their third level education in professions related to science, technology, engineering or maths.
The Intel Women in Technology 2015 scholarship programme forms part of a wider focus by Intel on empowering girls and women by fostering educational opportunities and encouraging females to participate, prosper, and lead in the global economy.
The scholarships are open to female school leavers entering specified four-year undergraduate degree courses in a STEM subject.
Scholars will receive a monetary grant valued at €2,000 per year as well as opportunities for work placements at the Intel Leixlip campus and mentorship by an Intel Leixlip employee.
