IDA announces expansion plans for three international tech companies

The IDA has announced that three of its client companies in technology are to create a total of 180 jobs across Louth, Galway and Cork.

YapStone International, a provider of Web and mobile payment solutions and processing, will create 120 jobs at their new EMEA headquarters in Drogheda, Co Louth,

In Galway, Synchronoss Technologies, a mobile innovation company that provides activation and mobile content management solutions for mobile devices, will begin Phase II of their hiring plan for the research and development (R&D) and operations centre. The company will create 30 positions that are of immediate need over the next three months. The positions will be in the areas of research and development; quality assurance; and service delivery.

Entercoms, a provider of aftermarket supply chain services, is to establish its European Headquarters in Mallow, Co. Cork. The new facility will create 30 roles over a three-year period in industrial engineering; operations research and business intelligence with programme management; supply chain management; demand planning; and business analytics.
