The 2011 Deloitte Fast 50 Technology Awards is now to entries. The awards, now in their twelfth year, recognise Ireland’s indigenous technology sector and reward the growth of exceptional technology firms operating in the country. The theme of this year’s awards is ‘Connect, Grow, Inspire’ to reflect that success in the technology industry means combining technological innovation, entrepreneurship and rapid growth.
Previous winning entries Daft Media, PulseLearning, Lincor Solutions and 2010’s winning entry Software Asset Management Ireland (SAMI). SAMI is a leading supplier of software and information technology solutions to the education and voluntary sector. Established in 2003, the company has achieved enormous turnover success with an aggregate growth rate of 5505% over the last five years. The firm also achieved a top 10 spot in the 2010 EMEA Fast 500 ranking, coming in at position 8.
Norman McBrien, operations & marketing manager at SAMI has commented that he is extremely happy with SAMI’s success and remarked that the increased success has enabled the company to hire 15 new members of staff. McBrien commented that, “we are delighted to win the Deloitte Fast 50, proving that we are a high growth company providing innovative solutions to clients and delivering on customer expectations.” McBrien added that, “winning the award has given us great confidence and visibility.
