A deal between Iron Mountain Digital and Dublin-based C Infinity means businesses in Ireland now have access to leading online computer backup technology.
C Infinity will sell services based on Iron Mountain Digital’s solutions, which include Connected Backup/PC (online backup for personal computers) and Livevault (online server backup).
Iron Mountain Digital is a provider of data backup and recovery solutions and archiving software as a service. Its solutions help firms of all sizes protect corporate data through unattended backups and by recovering server and PC data.
C Infinity has run successful trials with a number of Irish businesses, some of which have committed to implement the solution, according to the provider.
Nick Cater, head of Northern European operations at Iron Mountain Digital, noted: “There is huge market potential in Ireland. The fact that over 60% of businesses are now connected to broadband internet combined with the exponential growth in data means the time is right to bring our solutions to this market.”
