Entensys Corporation is joining forces with Panda Security to provide antivirus scanning functionality for its UserGate proxy server and future products. Panda’s antivirus engine is integrated into UserGate Proxy to intercept data transferred through various Internet protocols. It selects traffic subject to control and analyses it for viruses and spyware.
Entensys president Alexander Levchenko said the combination provides users with “an extremely high-performance software solution for protecting and managing their Internet access.” He added: “Entensys offers customers a comprehensive, high-performance all-in-one solution to secure small and medium-size networks, including a built-in firewall, web filtering, user access control, antivirus and antispyware functionality.”
