Acronis Inc, a provider of advanced disk imaging solutions, has signed a non-exclusive agreement with Commtech, a major Irish value added distributor of IT products. The agreement further extends Acronis’ reach into the Irish market, where Commtech has strong relationships with a nationwide network of resellers and ISPs. Commtech MD Justin Owens said Acronis is recognised for its end-to-end reliable disk imaging and disaster recovery software solutions.
Acronis GM Kevin Moreau said the would work closely with the Commtech team to make its software available “to a broad range of organisations across Ireland.”
The Acronis products will complement Commtech’s existing virtualisation and storage offerings, enabling the company to provide backup, recovery, deployment and migration software solutions. The agreement also calls for close cooperative marketing and support between the two firms. Commtech will promote Acronis’ software to its new and existing resellers and, in return, Acronis will provide Commtech with dedicated technical support and training, as well as detailed product guidance and direct sales support for Commtech’s key clients.
