Citrix has developed a connector that links IBM WebSphere with Web and legacy applications through Citrix’s NFuse Classic.

The connector, or portlet, is a small part of an application that connects WebSphere Portal users to additional applications, content, processes or people.

The NFuse Classic portlet provides users with instant access to Windows, Unix, Java and native Web applications from the WebSphere Portal.

With the NFuse Classic portlet, WebSphere Portal users can access Web-enabled or client/server applications through a browser, on a variety of devices. Organisations can provide users with access to applications in addition to managed, personalised content and other information.
