Bosses like mobile broadband

Small and medium businesses are increasingly turning to mobile broadband. So says research commissioned by O2, which reports that the number of customers using its mobile broadband service is now 100,000.

The number of senior SME managers using mobile broadband has jumped from 12% in last year’s survey – also run by market research specialists TNS mrbi – to 34%.

The survey follows a ComReg report showing a 142% rise in Irish mobile broadband subscriptions in the year to December 2008.
