Wriggle Learning, ExamRevision collaborate on support materials for senior cycle
Edtech companies Wriggle Learning and ExamRevision are partnering on an effort to expand access to safe, curriculum-aligned teaching & learning tools for students nationwide, as schools prepare for significant digital changes under the reformed senior cycle.
Under the collaboration, students on Wriggle’s 1:1 managed device programme will have access to ExamRevision’s 21st Century Textbook teaching and learning platform containing bite sized video tutorials, self-correcting quizzes, presentations, notes, exam papers, and teacher dashboards for assigning and monitoring student progress.
The partnership brings together two Irish-developed education solutions at a time when schools are being asked to integrate more digital content, tools and assessments, and when families are increasingly under pressure from the growing ‘grinds economy’.
Sean Glynn, chief learning officer at Wriggle Learning, said: “Schools are preparing for new digital demands under senior cycle reform, and this partnership ensures students can access trusted, curriculum-aligned study tools through a safe, school-managed device.
“This is about equity as much as innovation, giving every student secure access to high-quality learning supports, not just those who can afford grinds or additional resources. And it’s a collaboration built in Ireland, for Irish schools, at a time when digital learning has never been more important.”
Keith Walsh, co-founder and CEO at ExamRevision, said: “Our goal at ExamRevision is to support students and their teachers with a teaching and learning platform that caters to all types of learners, both inside and outside the classroom.
“ExamRevision costs less than a single textbook or workbook, yet provides students with access to the full Junior and Leaving Certificate curriculum across all subjects. It is the most cost-effective digital learning solution available to schools.”
Wriggle Learning supports more than 1,500 schools nationwide and manages over 150,000 student and teacher devices, making it Ireland’s market leader in school technology integration. ExamRevision is one of Ireland’s fastest-growing teaching & learning platforms, supporting more than 140,000 students and 13,000 teachers.
