The latest releases of Computer Associates’ Unicentre family of database management products for Oracle all include new enhancements aimed at reducing the complexities associated with Oracle database administration. Database Analyzer for Oracle 2.1 provides a centralised repository for storing collected statistics from multiple database instances, allowing streamlining of vital analysis and reporting tasks.
Unicentre Log Analyzer for Oracle 4.0 has been enhanced for large enterprise scalability with new server-based functionality that reduces network load and increases throughput for large recovery situations. Unicentre Fast Unload 4.0, meanwhile, includes additional output formats, performance improvements and enhanced support for Oracle.
