Samsung’s Galaxy Note II’s distinctive 5.55" screen and stylus puts it somewhere between a smartphone and a tablet, which is like to make it more appealing to business users than consumers. Its HD Super AMOLED multitouch display delivers 712×1280 pixels at 267ppi, protected by Gorilla glass.

Beyond content creation, the Galaxy Note II has 8MP and 1.9MP front- and rear- facing cameras that can record in full-HD at 30fps, Android 4.1, JellyBean, and comes in 16-,32- or 64Gb models with 2Gb RAM and expandable micro SD memory slot.

Sony HMZ-T2

While you’re waiting on Google glass to arrive you might like you get your head around the concept of head-mounted displays with this 3D headset from Sony.

Due for an October release in Japan, the HMZ-T2 is designed to recreate a full 3D cinema experience rigt before your eyes. Epson has tried a similar trick with a more elaborate see-through option aimed at business travellers.

Likely to find a home with gamers and frequent fliers.
