An Irish company is offering an alternative to paper-based promotional material such as special offer vouchers. Active since April 2010, Easydeals.ie is the product of entrepreneurs Des Martin and Andrew Mullaney.

Claiming up to 20,000 users and 60,000 page views per month, the site has clients register deals and makes them searchable by category and location. Search results bring up a list of relevant deals. Users have the option to promote deals by using a Facebook ‘Like’ button.

A starter package for Easydeal.ie is free, with upgrades starting from €50 up to €350 for a customised presence.

Of the founders, Martin is a chartered accountant who qualified with KPMG. Andrew Mullaney is an IT professional who trained with Accenture. Both are working full time on the project.
