Ryanair has said that it will create more than 50 new IT and digital jobs as part of a web site transformation initiative.

At an open day to be held on 8 February at its new Dublin offices at Airside, Swords, the airline will recruit what it terms “web stars” in the areas of web development and design, analytics, software engineering, SEO and content, CRM and email to transform Europe’s largest travel web site, Ryanair.com, develop a world leading digital marketing platform by April and help create a new mobile app from June.

The CEO Michael O’Leary and Kenny Jacobs, CMO, Eric Neville, director of IT, and Dara Brady, head of Web Development, will be present to talk to hopefuls and outline the company’s strategy.

“As Ryanair rolls-out our new digital strategy, we’re hoping to recruit over 50 IT and digital professionals to drive these revolutionary developments,” said Robin Kiely, head of communications, Ryanair. “We want to meet the best of the best and are holding a web open day at our new Dublin offices at Airside, Swords on Sat, 8th February from 08.30 to 12.00.”
