The EMP-7800 from Epson is an XGA projector designed for use in conference rooms. The EMP-7800 comes with a DREAM III LCD panel and produces 3,500 ANSI lumen images in true XGA native resolution (1024 x 768). The projector has a longer lamp life saving option known as Eco Mode, which delivers 2,500 ANSI lumen and 3,000hr lamp life. In addition, operation noise on the EMP-7800 is reduced down to 33dB when in Eco Mode.
The EMP-8300 has a number of networking options and includes Quick Corner and Wall Shot functions which enable the user to adjust a perfect square screen image and to show true colours even when the image is projected to a colour wall. The EMP-8300 also comes with an EasyMP.net function which monitors the state of the projector connected to the TCP/IP network and controls a number of basic functions such as checking and controlling fan errors, IP addresses and lamp errors.
The projector has a password-protected function to guard against theft and operation by unauthorised persons. It is also equipped with a one-touch remote control for easy use.
