Some 4,000 candidates are expected to attend the first JobJunction fair at Smock Alley Theatre in Dublin’s Temple Bar this Saturday 18 October. Organised by recruitment website Jobs.ie, the event will target multilingual candidates for vacancies in sales and customer support. A total of 15 tech companies will be attending, including Yelp, CPM, USIT, Sky and Google recruiters Voxpro and Teletech.

Jobseekers can expect opportunities for positions requiring German, French, Italian, Spanish, Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Polish, Czech and Hungarian.

Ian Boucher, general manager, Jobs.ie said: “JobJunction is a place for job seekers and employers to meet in a relaxed environment. Job searching can be a lonely business. We want employers to meet the people applying for their jobs and at the same time, let jobseekers know they are not alone, bring them together at a great venue and build some confidence.”

JobJunction will be a bi-annual event. More information can be found on  www.jobs.ie/jobjunction.
