The Irish Software Association (ISA), the Ibec group that represents the software sector has launched the 2014 ISA Software Industry Awards.
Recent figures from the ISA Digital Technology Index (DTI) shows that 87% of Irish IT companies expect international sales to grow over the coming year and business sentiment continues to improve, The ISA Software Industry Awards will recognise the best and brightest of Ireland’s software and digital technology companies, who are urged to submit their entries by 3 October, entry is free.
ISA chair and Trilogy Technologies managing director Edel Creely said: “The ISA Software Awards will recognise the success of this industry that is innovating, transforming and scaling, The ISA DTI highlighted the fact that 81.5% of technology companies were more confident about their business than they were three months ago, with 94% stating they expected revenues to increase over the coming three months.”
The categories for this year’s ISA Software Industry Awards are:
- ISA Digital Technology Company of the Year
- Outstanding Achievement In International Growth
- Digital Technology Services Project of the Year
- Emerging Company of the Year
- Technology Innovation of the Year
- Excellence in Talent Development
- Multinational Corporation Initiative of the Year
- Outstanding Academic Achievement of the Year
The awards will take place in the Double Tree by Hilton on Friday 21 November.
