Because they’re worth it: Expect unblemished performance from these drives
Iomega teamed up with California’s sports fashion brand Skin Industries to design its latest line of external hard drives.
While they may look as if they stepped straight out of a tattoo parlour, the 500GB drives feature the same fast transfer speeds as Iomega’s eGo models.
The three available styles are called Radical, Knock Out, and Red Hot. Like other Iomega products, they carry a three-year warranty.
They come bundled with Iomega’s Protection suite that includes EMC’s Retrospect Express Backup software, Iomega QuikProtect, and a free one-year subscription to Trend Micro’s Internet Security.
Also included is the patented Drop Guard technology designed to keep the drive working even after being dropped four feet onto the floor.
