Irish-owned SAP gold partner Intelligent Information Systems (IIS), acquired the SAP Business One division of Maxima, a London AIM-quoted international technology company. The deal is expected to create 10 new technology positions.
The deal is the second acquisition by IIS in the same number of months, making it one of the largest SAP Business One Gold Partners in Europe.
IIS develops software enhancements for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software SAP Business One. It also sells and implements SAP Business One for SME companies with under 200 employees.
Founded in 1993, IIS was purchased by current CEO Morgan Browne in 2008 and employs 43 people.
IIS supports 250 companies in the SME sector with an estimated 5,000 end users. Revenues at IIS are projected at €5 million in 2012.
IIS delivers SAP Business One in Ireland, UK and Benelux countries through offices in Dublin, Birmingham, Chester, Glasgow and Arnhem.
