EET Europarts opens Irish office

EET Europarts, a European distributor of computer and printer spare parts, supplies and consumables, lifestyle electronics and home entertainment, and surveillance and security, has opened and Irish office and appointed a local sales manager.

Andrew Healy will be based at the new office on the Old Naas Road in Dublin, having gained extensive experience in sales and business development within distribution from positions held previously with Midia, Westcoast, Tech Data and Commtech.

Turnover at the Danish owned distributor is €200 million, and it says was boosted by the recent acquisition of its nearest competitor Europarts, earlier this year.

"Working for EET Europarts in Ireland is an exciting new venture and holds a number of opportunities to grow its business in Ireland. We are number 1 in Europe for Spare Parts but there are also several new and exciting developments afoot that will open up new channels and new customers for us moving forward," said Healy.

"I have known Andrew Healy for several years as an highly skilled profile within distribution and sales and I am very comfortable that he now will run our Irish office on a daily basis," said Simon M. Smith, managing director.

EET Europarts has more than 400,000 items available and have received several prizes as "Best Distributor" and won awards for the own developed Product Guide which have more than 1,000,000 product relations.
