Communications Minister Eamon Ryan T.D., has announced the launch of a new website www.digitaltelevision.ie, set up to provide information on the transition from analogue to digital terrestrial television in Ireland. The website will focus the Digital Terrestrial Trial currently underway and the development of new digital terrestrial television (DTT) services in Ireland, which is expected to progress in the next twelve months.
Intended to replace the existing analogue services provided by RT
