Google has warned that Irish businesses are seriously behind their UK and European counterparts in terms of utilising the internet. Google argued that if Irish SMEs are serious about business growth then no business can ignore the potential revenue earning of the internet.
Google’s online sales director, Ronan Harris commented that “we work with thousands of businesses across Europe, helping them to make a successful business online. Some are struggling to survive and Google wants to help Irish business to overcome these difficulties and to achieve the same kind of success as their European counterparts.”
