The next national census will take place on Sunday April 28th and an associated Website is due to be launched on January 31st. Here you will be able to browse for any information related to the census, from how the census works, what the data is used for, latest releases, resources for schools, help filling out the form and foreign language support.
Should you not remember the last census, which was conducted in 1996, or be familiar with its detailed questions (for example, what kind of sewerage facility does your accommodation have), you can download a sample copy of the 24-page Census 2002 form. The form, available in both English and Irish language versions, can be viewed with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
