AsthmaMD
For: iOS
A health tracker app for asthma sufferers, AsthmaMD has a diary to log attacks, charts to show their severity and even an option to send the results to your GP. Having been developed in part by a doctor it has a stamp of authority other trackers don’t have.

Mo Chead Focloir
For: iOS, Android
An early learning app for the Irish language Mo Chead Focloir (My First Words) uses the same model its publisher StoryToys has used in it versions for French, Spanish, German and Chinese.
Using a combination of colourful photographs and simple word labels that pop up on screen as a 3D scene, Mo Chead Focloir encourages children to follow simple instructions, tap on pictures to hear a word spoken in English, and then tap again to have it repeated in Irish. This process ensures a reinforcement of word meanings in both languages for the child.

Flappy48
For: iOS
A hybrid of Flappy Bird and 2048, Flappy48 has players tap the screen to move a numbered tile between the green tubes while trying to combine tiles that form a tail behind you. Thus the more you progress the harder the game gets until it becomes unwinnable. As always, sometimes it’s the journey, not the destination, that matters.
