Oracle group starts planning UK conference

The UK Oracle User Group has announced what it says will be its biggest conference and exhibition yet.

The event, which takes place from 14 to 17 November in the ICC, Birmingham, has been extended from three to four days and the exhibition space has also been increased. The conference agenda, which will be available online from mid-August, will cover Oracle, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards and Siebel.

The theme of this year’s event is ‘Mastering the future with Oracle’. The guest speaker is Falklands war veteran, Simon Weston, who will give his presentation on Thursday 16 November. The event organisers say, “An inspiring individual, Simon’s message is one of single-minded determination, to not only accept what is, but to turn that to your advantage”.
