PC Cubed, the Bray based specialist hardware distributor, is one of three companies shortlisted for the Specialist Distributor of the Year in this year’s ICT Excellence Awards.
The firm won the title last year. Speaking to Irish Computer, PC Cubed managing director Celine Hackett said that, as a result last year’s win, the company had benefited from a heightened profile in the marketplace.
The award aims to recognise distribution companies that have demonstrated outstanding business performance over the past 12 months. The Specialist Distributor of the Year category was conducted through an online voting process in which resellers and channel readers of Irish Computer voted for the distributor they felt most worthy of the title.
Hackett said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted for this prestigious award for a second year running. It gives us a great sense of achievement and is a wonderful testament to our staff and the service we provide.”
The winners of the 2007 ICT Excellence Awards will be announced at a ceremony in the Burlington on April 25.
PC Cubed has been in the EPoS market for 13 years, and recently broadened its product portfolio to include mobile solutions. Marketing executive Michelle O’Brien said the distributor’s close collaboration with system integrators to secure business has worked extremely well.
