Third of Irish companies see climate change as significant challenge to business
One-third (33%) of Irish companies see climate change and natural disasters as significant challenges to their businesses according to interim results of the latest TechBeat survey in association with NTT Data.
The survey also found health crises to be of little concern to organisations, with only 9% of respondents believing they will have a significant effect on them.
“Current events have shown that we are at the mercy of the climate crisis and this is a huge challenge for organisations. What’s also fascinating is how the prospect of another pandemic seems to hold no fear. This would indicated how our lived experience of the pandemic has changed our opinion of resilience. I look forward to discussing the complete findings of this survey at TechFire on 22 November.”
