Strencom has announced a deal that will see Microsoft’s cloud voice solution, hosted Lync, be delivered by its channel partners in the Republic and Northern Ireland.
Lync combines instand messaging and presence technology with conferencing, enterprise voice and Skype services available across multiple devices.

"The ease and speed of implementation, enhancement in productivity and efficiency as well as the pay per user model make this a very compelling telephony and communications tool for all businesses."
Ciaran Keohane, Small Medium Business & Distribution Group lead at Microsoft, said: "Strencom came to our World Partner Conference (WPC) in 2011 and 2012, and since then we have been collaborating on hosted cloud voice. Strencom has invested heavily in the hosted Lync solution to bring a leading enterprise voice solution to the Irish market."
