Stelfox scoops NRF awards

Irish recruitment firm Stelfox has scooped two awards at the National Recruitment Federation Awards (NRF) ceremony, for Small Agency of the year and Best in Practice – IT & Telecoms.

The awards recognised Stelfox as a company that "delivers meaningful results for clients while creating a dynamic, challenging and fun working environment".

Participants were measured on a number of business criteria including innovation, customer experience, staff development and corporate social responsibility. The independent judging panel were impressed with the company’s ethos of continuous development and the commitment to training and development.

Stelfox attributes its success in part to its decision to move its operations to the cloud, allowing it to take an innovative approach to dealing with clients and searching for candidates. The company said that its team members can now use a combination of smart phones, tablets and PCs to access the operating system 24/7.

Stelfox also has a strong emphasis on corporate social responsibility. It sponsors two charities; Indreni, supporting homeless children in Nepal and Soar, developing confidence and self-worth in Irish teenagers. The company supports in team members to become actively involved to the extent that individuals have travelled to Nepal, to Base Camp Everest and to Nova Scotia, Canada with a group of Irish teenagers.
