Sage announces new Dublin centre as cornerstone of European strategy

Small business accounting, payments and payroll solutions provider Sage has announced the opening of a customer support office in Sandyford, Dublin. The office will serve the European market and is expected to generate 300 jobs for the capital.

This project is supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation through IDA Ireland.

Stephen Kelly, CEO, Sage said: “Ireland is central to our vision for Sage in Europe and this new centre is a symbol of our commitment to serving and selling to our small and medium business customers in the region. Sage is a global company that is moving at pace and we want the very best of Dublin’s talent to join us on this mission.”

Brendan Flattery, president of Sage Europe, added: ‘“For over 30 years we’ve been helping small businesses to grow – this new Dublin centre will significantly strengthen us in supporting our customers achieve their business ambition.  The new centre is focussed entirely on providing a new experience that will propel businesses across Europe to thrive and succeed.”

Sage currently employs 14,000 people across 24 countries, including 250 in Dublin.
