Education and technology company Prim-Ed has linked up with Panasonic to develop classrooms of the future in schools and colleges nationwide.
The deal comes after Tanaiste and Minister for Education and Skills, Mary Coughlan confirmed the release of €20.75 million.
Prim-Ed provides interactive whiteboards, software, digital books, online maths and science resources, and more traditional material to schools and has a 15-year reputation for innovation, quality, service and reliability in education in Ireland.
Managing director Seamus McGuinness (pictured) said: “Under this new arrangement [with Panasonic] we will also distribute Easiteach software which will allow teachers plan lessons in advance, set up colourful and interesting challenges; all of which can be downloaded via USB, reused and developed for ongoing use.”
