PayPal announces 100 jobs for Ballycoolin

PayPal has today announced the creation of 100 new jobs at its global operations centre for Europe, the Middle East and Africa in Ballycoolin, Dublin.

This latest jobs announcement reflects PayPal’s strong customer and revenue growth across the world. It signals PayPal’s continued investment in Ireland as a key strategic hub for that growth, as well as its commitment to jobs creation in Ireland.

Over the next two months, PayPal will recruit for customer service and team leader positions, including customer support and risk operations. The 100 new roles are for English-speakers, in addition to these PayPal also has a number of foreign language roles currently open to interested applicants.

Louise Phelan, vice president of global operations for Europe, Middle East and Africa for PayPal (pictured), said: “Right now, we are looking for customer service professionals with fluency in English. The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting our customers and resolving their queries.

PayPal supports 179 million active accounts. Its global operations centres in Ballycoolin and Dundalk employ more than 2,400 people.
