Panasonic Europe Ltd. and digital movie retailer Acetrax announced the launch of Europe’s first connected TV service, a premium movie store for owners of Viera Cast TV.

The pioneering solution enables customers to access a catalogue of over 2000 titles including Star Trek, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Up in the Air. The subscription free service also allows users to store and access purchased data from any combination of registered devices, such as TVs, Blu-ray players, home audio systems and laptops.
