Olive for Education opens Ireland’s largest post-primary IT service and support operation
Olive for Education has opened Ireland’s largest dedicated post-primary IT service and support operation.
Based at the Carrick-on-Shannon Business Campus, the centre brings together every part of the service Olive for Education delivers to the schools it works with. From this single location, the team manages the full journey for every school it serves, device delivery, cloud-based provisioning and imaging, logistics and deliveries, device servicing and repair, and ongoing customer support.
The centre is also home to Olive for Education’s technology enhanced learning (TEL) centre, where education specialists provide schools with expert advice and support on every aspect of teaching and learning with technology.
Gary Hoey, head of education, Olive for Education, said: “When schools are choosing a technology partner, the question that matters most is a simple one: who will be there when something goes wrong? A support centre of this scale, staffed by people who work with post-primary schools every day, is the answer. We guarantee faster turnaround, better service, and a single point of contact for every school we work with, wherever they are in the country.”
The centre represents a major investment for Olive for Education, both in the facility itself and in the specialist team behind it. By consolidating provisioning, logistics, repair, support and technology-enhanced learning expertise in one place, Olive for Education is able to offer schools nationwide a consistent, dependable service delivered by people who understand the day-to-day realities of the post-primary classroom.
Olive for Education is part of Olive Group.
