NuoDB opens EMEA development centre in Dublin

NuoDB, a specialist in scale-out SQL database technology, is planning to create 50 jobs at a new Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) development centre in Dublin, and a further 20 jobs at a new office in Belfast. The development is the largest of five announced today by the IDA, which wil lead to 185 new jobs over the next three years.

NuoDB’s development centre in Dublin will also provide support services to its existing customer-base and be the hub for other employees in the Netherlands, Italy, Bulgaria and Belarus.

Trading since 2010, NuoDB’s software is used to some 20,000 developers worldwide.

Also announced today were the creation of 20 jobs by French FinTech company Megatransfert SAS, a specialist in the area of micropayments via prepaid cards.

Artisan Infrastructure, a channel-only innovator of cloud management software and enterprise-class Infrastructure-as-a-Service is to create 30 jobs at its EMEA centre in Dublin.

DataClarity, a specialist in software applications that enhances and transforms corporate data into actionable information plans to create 30 jobs over two years in Dublin in an ICT capacity.

CRI, a global full service medical device manufacturer announced 25 new jobs over the next three years at its Wexford facility.

Finally, Modern Marketing Concepts, a  New York global sales optimisation company announced the establishment of its EMEA headquarters in Dublin, creating 30 jobs over the next three years.
