NetScreen Technologies, a US-based developer of network security systems, has appointed Data Alert, a pan-European distributor of ICT security products, to distribute its integrated firewall and virtual private network (VPN) security solutions in Ireland.
According to Fergal Murray, general manager of Data Alert, initial feedback and enquiries amongst resellers about Netscreen has been strong. ‘We look forward to developing a long-term, productive partnership with NetScreen,’ he said.
NetScreen integrated firewall/VPN devices are purpose-built, hardware-based products. The breadth of the product line enables customers to choose the products that best meet their needs, and to scale security implementations easily.
