This Friday (4 October) marks the closing date for entries for this year’s Irish Software Association Software Industry Awards is 4 October.
Awards will be given in eight categories: ISA Digital Technology Company of the Year; Outstanding Achievement In International Growth; Digital Technology Services Project of the Year; Emerging Company of the Year; Technology Innovation of the Year; Excellence in Talent Development; Multinational Corporation Initiative of the Year; and Outstanding Academic Achievement of the Year.
Edel Creely, ISA chairman and Trilogy Technologies CEO, said: "Ireland is home to many of the world’s leading technology companies. Equally, Ireland is home to a growing and vibrant indigenous tech sector which is developing new technology from here, exporting products and services internationally and, creating jobs.
"With over 730 Irish-owned digital technology companies, employing over 10,000 people and contributing €1.8 billion to the economy, the Irish Software sector can be a game-changer here."
According to Creely, almost 80% of ISA-member companies planning to hire over the next three months.
The awards will be presented at an event on 15 November. CEO designate of Enterprise Ireland Julie Sinnamon will keynote the Awards, which will be hosted by CEO and founder of news agency Storyful Mark Little.
